The Challenge: Unreliable Streaming
Our healthcare client had tried to stream an aquarium video in their patient waiting area. But instead of seeing fish and coral, patients would sometimes see a crashed browser trying to play a YouTube video. When the facilities department asked if Kiosk & Display could better manage the digital fish tank screen, we immediately said yes.
The Concept: Stream a Digital Aquarium Scene
The client’s facilities department had already built the cabinetry, so swapping the unmanaged browser for a single channel iPoster Slim media player was ideal, due to the fact that we had limited space available.
The Solution: Continuous Loop of a Very Realistic Fish Tank
Both patients and employees were receptive to the new digital fish tank, saying it looks exactly like a real fish tank. The iPoster player keeps the digital fish swimming 24/7. Over time, waiting room messaging may be added between aquarium scenes as the client’s Communication Team sees fit. Our client was very pleased that they could rely on us to keep the fish swimming!
